When the bedroom is too small for dressers, an efficiently-designed closet/dressing room is the way to go. This closet has a place for everything and then some.
Since the dresser and bookcases are situated directly across from the door for a more attractive view from the bedroom, there is no need to even close the door.
Tall shallow cabinetry is flexible, allowing the users to adjust the shelves according to their needs. Corner storage is great for the larger items like purses and blankets. Cabinets with drawers are 24” deep so they hold more clothes than a standard depth dresser. Holding the clothes rods up a bit allows for added folded clothes on the shelves below.
Custom cabinetry allows every inch to be used efficiently. A tall cabinet turned sideways serves as support for a hanging rod, a very large medicine/misc. cabinet, a full height mirror, a pull-out valet rod for hanging the ironing, a bench seat with more storage for shoe shine supplies and even a couple extra drawers where typically, only voided space would be an option.
Pull-out tie and belt racks take very small spaces and slide away into the cabinet when not in use.
Attention to detail shows in the mouldings and changes in cabinet depth for a beautiful, built-in furniture look.
Custom Wood Product’s gang construction method shines most in full inset applications, especially when painted. This beaded, full-inset frame is all one piece, allowing for consistent 1 ½” stiles and rails for a beautiful furniture look instead of the typical breaks between each cabinet box that create visible seams between each cabinet.
You can see and feel the difference in Custom Wood Product’s painted finish. Two coats of commercial solid color are hand sanded and spackled between coats followed by two coats of catalyzed varnish for the most durable finish in the industry.
