All of our drawers and Roll-outs are built using the finest materials and construction methods. We offer two types of joinery options for drawer construction; the French Dovetail or the English Dovetail that are further explained below.
Constructing our drawers using the French Dovetail joint allows for a seamless appearance between the face and the box. This joint has been used for centuries by fine furniture makers and is recognized for its strength and quality. The French Dovetail is our preferred drawer joint and will be used automatically unless conditions exist where English Dovetail construction is required. As with all of our drawers, the back of the drawer utilizes the English Dovetail joint to complete the finest drawer in the industry.
The English Dovetail is a very visual joint and may be preferred by some homeowners so we make it available on any of our drawers upon request. We use this joint as the primary construction joint for projects specifying our Full Inset and Partial Full Inset options or when conditions exist where the French Dovetail is not practical. The backs of all drawers utilize the English Dovetail joint to complete the finest drawer in the industry.
